Is she faking it?
Hello, my best mates older sister is 22, was born in england and lived here most of her life, she did move to scotland for 7 months last year. Now she as returned to Hull where she was born she is trying to talk like a scotish person.Not just talk like one but even writes words like them.We can not belive that after just seven months of living in scotland she has picked up the acsent so bad,is it possible.Everyone talks about her behind her back saying she is a idiot the way she sounds and it is as if she is ashamed to be English, so as she reallyat the age of 21 and living in scotland for just 7 months really picked up the acsent OR is she just being a idiot

She as been back in her home town for 10 months now and left scotland after a falling out with a friend
i except the fact that yes you do pick so much of the lingo up if you live in a diffrent place and they speak diffrent to you, what i am saying is she trys to speak full blowen scotish
She is just faking it, probably because she admire the Scots. At 21 you do some inexplicable things.
