it will give you others to see what the going market value of it is. Keep in mind this one factor: condition and rarity will set the value of it. DO NOT clean it, do not handle it, skin oil destroys a coins value.
Secondly, only coin grading professionals can REALLY tell you what its worth, names of the two that are 100% legit are NGC or PCGS. Do not assume the first valuation you get is right, get several unless one of these two coin grading companies does it for you.
Lastly, do NOT use a cheaper company just because it will save you money. Coin buyers that are LEGITIMATE do NOT respect or use any of the other coin graders for the simple reason that these two companies are THE most accurate, expert and professional, and their grading is trusted and respected in the coin world. (numismatics is the name of coin dealing or collecting)
