what is a good cleansing ritual/spell to cleanse my altar room after hubby's surgical healing?
to clarify... My altar room, was used as a wound-cleaning room after hubby had major surgery, and I was not in the least happy to have my NEW altar room taken over by him. It is also my craft room, ( i crochet....alot) and I watch tv there too. Needless to say, it was designated as MY room. I have spent the better part of 2 hours looking for a simple ritual/spell for make the room my own again and banish the ,if any, lingering illness, or negativity so I can do any further rituals, ie, Ostara, athame dedication, wand dedication... ect. Any ideas?? Like what secnt candles, herbs, ect. Help!!! Since there is no more sickness,ect, that is where I am stumped.

I would suggest a smudging ritual with sage - and then "re-charging" the space with positive uplifting energies - some yellow candles would be good for joy and positive energies, perhaps anointed with some citrus essential oils like grapefruit which is good for uplifting...if you want to make more of a ritual out of it, perhaps you could write one yourself where you cleanse the room, then each of your tools, then focus your intent to "recharge" it all...doesn't have to be perfect...you just have to focus your energy and intent into cleansing and charging your sacred space and it will be effective.
