Crocheting button holes?
I made the button holes on the last row by chaining 1, then skipping the next sc, and so forth. Now I'm on the last row, but not understanding it. Could someone help?
Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc and in each ch-1 sp across; finish off.
What does ch-1 sp mean???
The simplest answer is, just sc across the row. the ch-1 sp is just the space left by the chain you made in the previous row; so in other words you sc in each stitch and once in the spaces as well. Put your hook under the chain from the previous row and make the sc around it rather than working into the loop of the chain stitch.
