How about these as wedding favors?
I LOVE wedding favors. As much as I love them, I understand alot of guests leave them behind - I have lots of fancy wedding favors I received as a guest that I didnt really use at all. So I dont want to waste money and decided to go for an idea Ive seen alot in the weddings category here - the edible wedding favor.
My brother just got married and they had chocolate covered fortune cookies with a message from themselves at the place settings. They went down a storm and everyone ate them or took them home.Since I dont want to repeat the fortune cookie favor, how about this - each guest gets a little organza bag filled with mini chocolate hearts in our favorite colors with a tag saying "your presence was a sweet gift"
What do you think? Im sure no ones going to waste chocolate and even if some get left behind the kiddies will scoop them up!
I too love fancy wedding favors and I have even mistakenly left a really cute candle behind at the last wedding that I attended. Was pretty bummed that I forgot it and you have to think, the bride and groom must be frustrated when they see the favors they spent all that money on left among all the guest tables.
I love the fortune cookie idea that your brother used at their wedding. It seems that edible favors are the way to go these days. Many times the guests find themselves enjoying the favor right then and there and often never leave the goodies behind. I do love your idea with the mini chocolate hearts in the favor bags.
