What exactly is a "primitive" Baptist (or other) Church?
How primitive are we talkin', here?
I mean, to people swing from chandeliers, and throw Poo at one another in these Churches?
I always picture people handling snakes and what not.
What does "Primitive" Baptist Church mean?
PS- I know what the word "primitive" means, so don't be a butt-munch about it. 
They practice foot washing. They are against missionary societies, but are intensely evangelistic. They are mainly in the South, and do not handle snakes.They have the reputation of being the strictest of all Baptist churches.
Primitive Baptists are not backward, but try to recapture the original faith and practices of the New Testament apostles.Calvinism runs strongly through their doctrine.
