How to know the difference between sea salt and rock salt?
I mean how to recognize on seeing that a salt is from the sea or from the mountain rocks? (without tasting)
I am talking when both are unprocessed. Both are in small chunks when they are raw.
Where can you get original unprocessed rock salt? They always say its original unprocessed rock salt but they give the unprocessed sea one.
Rock salt is pink to almost balck in colour. It also has a strong smell of hydrogen Sulfide (smell of rotten eggs). Sea salt has no smell and no colour.
