What is the proper punctuation for this paragraph?
"Encouraging Alina, a startlingly tiny two-year-old with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, to finish eating her food; helping Ion, a cheerful toddler recovering from heart surgery, to learn how to walk; playing with Sami, a comical little boy with Down syndrome; and trying to soothe Ema-Elena, a beautiful girl afflicted with severe cerebral palsy; all became part of my daily routines, and I quickly got to know the personalities and unique traits of each of the twenty-one children living in the hospital."
I've always been confused as to where to place semicolons and commas.
It is a paragraph with one run on sentence. Not good. make it into 4sentences.
If that is the way it is to be, the punctuation is correct.
