Beanie size of 3-month-old daughter?
Hello, I am currently knitting a cap for a European girl, and I'm not sure how time I should do. I looked on a website and it said 14.75 x 5.75 inches for babies 3-6 months .... What do you think? I use a DIY kit to knit, which is like the top of a Turrent castle, and each point is a Turrent, as shown below: top view / Eagle eye: Bottom view http://img405.imageshack.us/i/diyknitting007.jpg/: http://img405.imageshack.us/i/diyknitting005.jpg/ Side View: http://img218 .imageshack.us/i/diyknitting006.jpg / The instructions supplied with the kit are not clear, apparently I have knitted so far is only half the cap, so I have to sew the other side on .. Do you have any suggestions on whether I should continue to knit, sew or off, and start knitting the other half? I was looking for Two baby hat patterns I have - they both have you knit 3 1 / 2 to 4 inches before starting to decline, and the top takes about 2 inches, I would say, so yes, 5 3 / 4 inches not sound believeable. for a total height. The beautiful thing about hats baby is almost no question, it comes _what_ as it adapts to a certain point. Baby heads very much anyway (some babies have huge heads, for example), and knitting is also extensible. In a pinch, you can always fold the bottom of the hat and it bites there to give the kind of hat one edge of the cuff / folded. Its really nice of you to be as much time into this one baby, and I am sure that parents will love!
