How do I "glue" a cross-stitch pattern into a fabric?
I am producing my own baby room pieces. I want to produce cross-stitches in "Precious Moments" theme and glue them into the cloth. Which glue or which object should I use? Please help!
I need to know if there is a permanent glue. I will wash the objects because it's going to be for a new born baby!!!
I have used waste canvas on sweatshirts and the like to stitch the design right on the fabric. It is very easy to use and remove.
If that is not an option, you might consider wonder under. It is like fusible interfacing, but it can be fused on both sides, like a fabric glue. You iron it to one shape, peel the back, iron it to the second shape. It is washable. You can find it at your local craft/fabric store.
