What type of handmade things would you buy?
What would you buy at a Bazaar that was handmade or homemade? I need ideas on stuff to make, I can't knit or crochet.
I have bought all of the following. Each item was professionally finished and while it was handmade, it was handmade with skill by an artisan.
Jewelry made from sterling silver, at least 14K gold, and/or real gems.
Cloisonne jewelry.
Necklaces made of polished stones hung on leather thongs.
Novelty jewelry made from seeds, nuts, pods, and other natural materials or from recycled materials.
Household articles that are well made and clever (purses made from gum and candy wrappers, hotpads and coasters made from newspaper, baskets made from pine needles and other grasses, and so on).
Bean or grain soup mix in a bag or jar (with recipe).
Ceramics, such as plates (decorated or plain), vases, casserole dishes, switchplate covers, plaques, and so on.
Painted wooden or metal pieces such as "Welcome" plaques to hang by the door, trash receptacles, a towel holder, candle holders, and other similar works.
