what happens if you dont use the pillow cover for the pillow and just sleep on the pillow?
yuck! that way you will never change your " pillow! "
You need a cover to change it weekly, othwrwise your pillow will go black and greasy and yucky and un -hygienic and its horrible, and it will smell. I change my bed linnen every week, and i have 2 pillow cases on each pillow, one which stays on the pillow just as protection and another one which i change every week. I also wash the one which is nearer to the pillow too, but once every 6 months, just for the sake of it!
