My Xerox Phaser 7400 is making a loud grinding / clicking noise from the back right hand side but prints fine?
when i go to print it makes a loud grinding noise from the far back right side of the printer for about 15 seconds then it prints fine. Has anyone experienced a similar problem? what was the remedy? thanks!!
First if it's under warranty I'd have it looked at by an Authorized Service Provider. If yours and no warranty, my guess is something related to the gears in that area. Open up the printer and look around at
moving parts and specifically gears. Printing something with the sides off will help significantly in pin pointing the problem.
