How do i determine the age of a Quilt, made by my grandmother and great grandmother?
Grandma was born in 1913 most are made with old clothing. Most are of white backing and pinwheel style designs.
Youcan assume the age of the quilt, but never know the real age unless there is a hint on it like a tag clothing patterns or something. If your grandmother was born in 1913 you can assume that at are 10 she was taught to sew. so Maybe 1923..
